Hiding in Plain Sight edition by Wendy Siefken Charles Siefken Daniel Peyton Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This is a short mystery that is very well written in the sheriff's point of view. A bank robbery, a set of fingerprints and a ski masked robber. The sheriff gets the results of the fingerprints. He visits a locksmith.
Old secrets come back to haunt.
Hiding in plain Site was a nice short story, which kept you turning pages!
As everything is not what it seems in the small town Chief Betts aim is to track down the person that robs the local bank. With no leads in sight he turns to a local locks smith for help. I have truly enjoyed this short story and rate it four and a half angels!
I received this book as a gift to read. I was very happy with the pace of the short story. This is the story of a small town police chief trying to solve the case of a non-violent bank robbery and an innocent man with a hidden past that he wants to keep hidden.
The story was well written and grabbed my attention from the beginning. The only thing is that I had some unanswered questions after I completed the story.
This is definitely a short story that I would recommend to mystery and thriller fans -)
I had the pleasure of reading "Hiding in Plain Sight" when Ms. Siefken entered it in a contest. I loved how she wove everyday happenings into extraordinary revelations. We all would admit that everyone has something to hide. Something we have done that we hope no one ever finds out about. Ms. Siefken does a wonderful job of showing us that one mistake in a persons life should never define who they are as a whole. This is a story of great compassion and bravery. A story that grips your heart and has you rooting for the 'bad guy.' It truely is a story of redemption.
I read this book in two days -- it was hard to put it down! I would certainly recommend it!
All is not as it appears in this small town. Police Chief Tony Betts has a mystery to solve. The bank has been robbed and there are not any viable leads..
Sometimes we can not see the forest for the trees! And, sometimes the obvious is not the answer...
Well done...
I like to read a crime story that turns out well. The authors have pulled me into a mystery that has kept me involved without extreme violence and language. Thanks, Wendy and Charles.
